Sports Photography

Sports photography is not my favorite thing… at least not the intense, quick-moving, in-action shots. Having your lens focused on the right spot at the right time is challenging in a fast paced setting. Adjusting camera settings continuously because the lighting on one side of the field is different from a spot just a few feet away… yeah I’m all set on that anxiety inducing experience. I have much respect for sports photographers for all of these reasons.

I take a more artsy approach to my sports photography - getting editorial-esque shots. My older brother, Zane Howard, has coached for a few different NYS Section V teams over the last few years and I’ve had the privilege of being his sideline photographer.
