SZA ‘Kill Bill’ Inspired Valentine’s Day Photoshoot [Part 2]

This may be one of my favorite concepts I’ve executed; hence why this is the second time I’ve done it! Check out the first attempt here.
To go along with SZA’s lyrics “I just killed my ex,” I wanted to come up with a new way to kill my “ex” AKA my best friend Jermaine, but as an educator on a budget, I was working with limited resources so we went with a fake stabbing again because I already has the fake knife and blood.
I set up in a conference room at my job - shout out to my boss. I originally envisioned this set with me sitting on a small couch, but again, worked with what I had and I think the green chairs ended up being a good touch since the green chairs complemented the eye-popping red tones well. (That’s also why I added the green plant).
Rather than having a new “girlfriend” to kill next to my dead “ex,” I set the scene as if I’d already moved her body and all that was left was her blood-soaked accessories (gold heels, purse, and press-on nails).
